During the annual year, the CTE Nagaland Chapter State College of Teacher Education Kohima undertook the following activities:

1. The CTE members conducted teachers’ orientation programme in two schools in Kohima. It was a need-based programme as the schools had expressed the need for orienting its teachers. The schools were:
i)  Mount Carmel Higher Secondary School Kohima on 13th Feb 2015
ii) Khedi Baptist School Kohima on 24th & 25th Feb 2015.
 The orientation was given in the following areas: Discussion on various problems faced by the teachers in the classroom, communication skills, motivation, concept mapping, skills of teaching and teaching methods which the schools requested to take up.  

ii) The College also took up a cleanliness drive in the institution creating awareness on proper waste segregation and disposal on 1st August 2015.
iii)  The college also organised a one day practical session on Yoga Education.
The resource persons were invited from an institution called ‘Full Circle’ a centre for Yoga education located in Kohima. The trainees and the faculty attended the session which included both theory as well as a two hour long practical session. This created awareness on the benefits of yoga in an individuals’ life.
